Collex ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard data when you use the Collex iOS application.

We collect the following information when you use Collex:

• Email address and authentication data (used to create and manage your account)
• Collection data (cards you add, scan, or track)
• Camera images processed locally for card recognition (images are not stored on our servers)
• App usage data and scan counts (used to enforce plan limits)
• Device information (OS version, device model) for diagnostic purposes

• To provide and maintain the Collex service
• To authenticate your account and sync your collection across devices
• To enforce plan-based scan limits
• To improve app performance and fix issues
• To contact you about important service updates

4. Camera usage

Collex requires camera access to scan Pokémon cards. Images captured during scanning are processed on-device and/or sent to our API solely for card identification purposes. We do not store, share, or sell camera images.

5. Data storage

Your account and collection data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL). Data is hosted on servers within the European Union and is protected with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

6. Third-party services

Collex uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication and database storage
• Cloudflare — content delivery and DDoS protection
• Cardmarket — public pricing data (read-only, no personal data shared)

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

8. Children's privacy

Collex is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your rights
